Some of my favourite cafes (FYI some get fully booked on weekend mornings for brunch).

Rosenhain Cafe is on top of a hill near Geidorf with amazing view over Graz. Well worth the 10 min walk up through the Rosenhain woods. On a sunny day it’s a great place to relax in one of their deckchairs with a glass of wine.

Cafe Fotter is a cozy mix of chic shabby vintage near the university and the Stadtpark. They have a pretty garden in the summer.

City Center

Ducks Coffeshop has good smoothies and cheesecake.

Mészáros is a small elegant cafe serving very pretty macaroons and deserts.

Cafe Sacher is grand old fashioned cafe serving traditional Austrian cake.

Hipster coffee houses (where coffee is taken very seriously!)

Tribeka has a stripped down industrial look There are several branches around town.

Buna Cafe is a tiny cafe on Schmiedgasse

Paul & Bohne is a newer cafe just off Lendplatz.
