ÖIF – supporting integration in Austria

The ÖIF – Österreichischer Integrationsfonds (Austrian Integration Fund) works to support migrants in Austria with learning German, intergrating into Austrian life and finding jobs. They organise workshops and seminars for example for women, about immigration rights, intercultural communication etc. You can also schedule an apppointment for a free consultation to help learn about language courses, educational opportunities, or volunteer work. Plus in certain situations they can help finance German courses.

They also offer support with learning German with on-line German classes, exam preparation, test your level skills etc. Plus language courses for recognition of academic qualifications, IT courses, classes in specific professional fields like health and nursing or language courses for key communicators in religion and society. The ÖIF also organise the official German tests required for third country nationals.

Plus they have a mentoring and support program for qualifed migrants who have at least B1 level German to help them access the job market.
