Here are my favourite second hand shops. Great for buying kids clothes, ski equipment, books and games. I’ve also included online places for buying and selling second hand items.

Carla are the charity shops for Caritas and are all over Graz. One of the biggest I visit is in Andritz (Lindengasse) where they have a room with sports equipment and also a furniture dept. They all usually have a English book shelf.

Kids Second hand

Pascalino ( Hasnerplatz) is a smaller store but also good selection of games, clothes, books etc

Pepino (Annenstrasse) is a small store selling mostly children’s clothes. The owner is very nice and will help you find whatever you need.

Ski equipment

Andrea’s Ski Laden is outside Graz in Premstätten where they have a huge selection of second hand skis, helmets, boots etc for kids and adults. They are very helpful and will measure your feet and help you find the right size. They are open by appointment only, ensuring you get great personal service.

Free!

Nachhaltig in Graz (a great environmentally friendly group) has set up a free store in St Leonard where you can bring and take household items, clothes, toys and more with no charge. A great initiative to keep things out of the landfill

Grazer Mamas Marktplatz is good facebook group to sell and buy kids things.

Willhaben is useful place to find and sell just about anything.

Facebook Share and Care and Graz Verschenkt are great places to give away and find things for free, especially heavier items like furniture.
