Pick-your-own flower fields

Pick-your-own flower fields are a great sustainable way to get fresh, affordable flowers. The fields below around Graz are open 24 hrs from April until the autumn. You just pick your flowers and leave the money in the honesty box (prices are on a board). There’s usually a knife available to cut the flowers but good to bring your own knife or shears just in case. Flowers include gladioli, sunflowers and dahlias. You can grab a bunch of 9 sunflowers for around 7 euros – great idea for presents or just to brighten your apartment.
