A mini oasis in the middle of the city! The upscale garden store Baumgartner am Paulustor has recently opened in the historic Palais Wildenstein at Paulustorgasse 8 (close to Karmeliterplatz). Full of stylish garden accessories, household wares, decorative items, plant pots and lots more.
A pretty courtyard filled with flowers and plants also offers a pleasant place to linger and get away from the bustle of the city.
There is also a fancy restaurant – ‘StammTisch am Paulustor’ with indoor seating and plus tables outdoors in the plant filled courtyard. (see facebook or instagram for their special daily lunch menu – €15 for 2 courses). Or you can just stop by for a drink in the mornings or afternoons and relax among the plants!
