Schreib.Oase is a new co-writing space just off Annenstraße, not far from Südtiroler Platz. Writers of all disciplines will receive a warm welcome in German or English from founder Petra Freynhofer.
The room is set up as a cozy living room with lots of fun vintage touches to inspire a creative atmosphere. Writers can choose between different areas -armchairs, a sofa, individual desks, a communal table, bar table & stool, or even a treadmill complete with writing platform for those who like to move as they work! Creative tools such as vintage cloth pinboards, flipcharts, paper and pens are also available to help brain storm and map out ideas. The kitchen is stocked with Sonnentor teas and the coffee machine is filled with Paul & Bohne beans.
Writers can choose between renting a spot by the hour or monthly plans allowing entry between 6 am – 10 pm.
Regular community events include Friendly Feedback gatherings, writing coffee mornings, readings and open mics. Along with a full program of creative workshops exploring diverse writing themes and trying out new styles like black out poetry, word building or planning your next plot line. Plus writing retreats and other special events.
